How many members does the MIT Sloan Net Impact Chapter have?
Historically, club membership has hovered around 100 students.
How often do you have events?
The MIT Sloan Net Impact Chapter sponsors various types of events including industry speakers, volunteer days, career advising panels, faculty social impact perspectives lectures, nonprofit panels, and idea storms. The club often also teams up with other sustainability clubs at Sloan to co-sponsor events. All in all, there is a sustainability-related event nearly every week!
What types of internships and jobs have MIT Sloan Net Impact Chapter received?
Club members have worked in fields spanning from education to clean energy, from community development to healthcare. They have worked for the federal government, for large enterprises, and have founded start-ups. They have worked in Boston and Africa. If you are interested in a career in sustainability or social impact, students in Net Impact will have the broad range of backgrounds to be able to give you the advice to succeed.
